Small Bus Server Behind Astaro

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has or are implementing a small
bus server 2003 behind Astaro v6. Basically was or are there
any config issues,etc. New to Astaro and seeking a little help from vetrans
Cable modem will be used w/dynamic Ip. I have a dynamic dns
provider for dns,etc. Is there any pointer as to which will not
be in the docs. And If I may ask which vpn is recommended.

    SBS behind ASGS is no prob - its "just" like have more than one "normal" server there, i.e. an dc + exchange + iis; the special is that u have all functions in one...

    Sorry for not responding sooner. Thank for you input. I am new to this product and SBS. I think after re-reading some posts here and the user guide
    I feel it will be a smooth transition. Thank You again.

    Well the only thing I can really think of is which box you are going to have be the DHCP server.  And if you are hosting anything on the SBS2003 server you will have to setup Astaro to allow traffic to the server.

    SBS is wicked with astaro. are you using sbs premium or standard? premium has a built in ISA Server. I have been testing extensivly, and I can decide what caches bettter, ISA, or Squid. The virus and content filter on Astaro kills ISA, and you can't beat the price. I would buy SBS standard and use your Asaro as a proxy and content filter. That is the setup I am using now, and it works great. Just forward port 80 for Web mail and IIS web site, and you are good to go.

    One question for you Encrypted.

    Does Astaro only support one Content Filtering profile for Active Directory, or can you setup multiple "http_access" groups for different profiles?

    Well I had the intentions of using Astaro for its full wokability. Then with sbs2003 I would use its dhcp,so as not to confuse anything and keep simple.
    For now I will be using standard,although maybe premium later. Maybe a suggestion of setup? I was going to use a web in dmz of sbs if easier than
    using a dmz from Astaro. Not really sure how much security issues if all will
    be on sbs only. I mean I will backups,etc. Any suggestions.I though that
    would be easier than hosting everything on sbs.

    Personally to reduce network management complications I would DNAT from Astaro.  (If that is the correct way to DMZ.)
