Named services

Hi,

Was wondering if the ASL (6.2)  box can also be used to provide named services to the local network. I only see an option to configure forwarders. If I add entries to the local master zone and reverse zone files, these get overwritten on reboots and resarts. Any ideas on how to set this up. Also, I have setup dhcpd to update the master and reverse zone files on regular linux box. How would I go abt doing it on the ASC box ?

    Sorry, this isn't supported on ASL.

    You could run an internal DNS/DHCP server, have your internal clients point to it, and have it point to the ASL DNS proxy for it's forwarder, and have ASL point to ISP forwarders.
