V7 feature Request

Nice thing its the first time, i remember, that were asked so detailed about wich things the customers want to have.
But there are important things wich i want to know about :
1st what tells the ASTARO Roadmap about release of V7 ?
2nd is it so quite here from astaros because all are working on V7 than on V6 ?

    Kind of interesting, last year a very similar survey was sent out for V6 but only to resellers and partners and a couple of UBB forum members. (Probably larger customers too).

    Did this happen this year?  Do "public" votes count less than partner votes? (I would have guessed so, but then "the customers always right"). [:)]

    yes, Partners also got the survey. If you look on it, you can select whether you are a Customer or Partner.

    But to be serious again: I have no idea if they give several weights if you are a customer / partner / end user, but i guess so.
    Partners usually have several installations out there and can collect and weight the requirements and needs of several customers.
    (Not an Astaro statement, just my thought!!)

    Yeah, we got the survey in advance of the announcement on this site.  We're relatively new partners, but I have to say I've been impressed by how much input they welcome from partners and users.  We're selling it like hotcakes!

    I hope they will support the same and additional hardware like in version 6... i am afraid enough, that ASL 6's kernel has the pentium not in the config... 

    this is not much work, to do it by myself...but then i lost support, and a kernel upgrad kills my box...

    I find it amusing you are relying on people keeping it secret, and/or no competitors viewing this forum...  Wouldn't a login on the myAstaro portal have been a better idea?
