Have 2.016 old version. Update for SIP AWARE

I have an old version of Astaro Firewall Linux.
I just want to update to a sip aware firewall.
Can I just add a SIP fix or have I  to update in version 6.0 and update the kernel too ?

    There is no SIP fix vor Version 2 (which is not supported anymore).
    You should update to V6, there is a SIP proxy included.

    If your configuration is not to difficult, write it down or print it.
    Then reinstall your system with V6 and reconfigure

    if you have a pretty tough config lemme know, I can send up an ISO of 3.2 to you if you'd like so you can migrate up the chain.  You will however want to check your configs when moving from 2 >> 3 >> 4.0xx >> 5.20x >> 6.00x to verify your proxy settings and whatnot.

    I haven't done any firewalls going up the full chain like that in 1 day but I've done atleast 8 so far that have orig started on either v2 or v3 & over the years have upgraded them to 6.
