ssh logon

Hi,

is it possible to log on to the ASL box via ssh?
I tried it from a windows box with putty (standard settings).
The key exchange works, I also get a login prompt. After entering "root" and the equivalent password the connection breaks. So I can't login with the root user.
Okay, I tried it with a system user I created with the webbased configuration tool. I couldn't login with that user too.

So is it possible to have a ssh login on an ASL box?

If yes, how did you solve this?

    Hi Michael,

    to log in via ssh, you have to use the 'loginuser'-account. After login you can get root-privileges with 'su'.

    I will better use 'su -', to make it a login-shell. ;-)
