Shut down interfaces....

I've been annoyed by this for a long time and just want to post my opinion.

Sometimes you might want to shut down a interface, say for example a DMZ interface because you need to reorganize of for whatever reason.

This is not possible from the webinterface, since the interface will probably have somne rules attached to it.

Why can't I force down an interface even if there are rules defined with that interface? I surely can from the shell, but I should be able to even from the webinterface.

Your thoughts please.
