Hello, this is from the astaro Knowlage Base: alicd not running - restarted Product Version: 5.000 or later
Symptom: Astaro sends notification "[INFO-113] alicd not running - restarted" frequently Cause: Astaro uses an internal program to count all *users protected by Astaro. This program is called "alicd". This program uses two counters to count the amount of users. Under special circumstances these counters may become unsyncronized. When this happens alicd is not able to start correctly. Astaro's selfmonitor tries to restart the alicd with no success and generates a notification.
*users = IP Addresses Resolution: In order to allow the alicd program to again work correctly we must make sure the counters are syncronized correctly. As there is no way to edit the counters manually they must be reset so they can both begin counting again at 0.
To reset the counters follow the given steps:
1) Login to Webadmin 2) Goto System >> Licensing >> Licensed users (IPs) >> Reset user (IPs) listing 3) Press Start (this requires a reboot)
After the reboot, the counters should be syncronized and the notification problem should be resolved.
We are getting this as well...5.203, have tried the reset, didn't change a thing, have uploaded the license file again and also and updated license file, problem won't go away...
