Home user buy "used" ASL5 license.

well,the 10 IP's free license is limiting my home network.
i was looking to buy a license on ebay ,hopfully "used" or uneeded one......
i am a student and the price for the 50IP's is 1K....
is it commen to buy "used" license? and where?

    Btw:  once again....use the search button and learn about "astaros ip counting" and then be creative...otherwise buy a 50 IP license.

    Are you absolutely sure that you need 50?
    You must have a lot of equipment.

    I have 20 machines at home, plus various devices such as two networked printers, an intelligent Ethernet switch, a networked UPS and a Wi-Fi access point that all have IP addresses as well. With all this equipment, I am using a total of 5 (five) out the 10 slots on my home user license.

    i need more then 20 ip's.
    I can't hide them behind NAT because I need to establish VPN
    Site to Site with the UNI.......

    Yes I am using it from my home to connect to the university internal network
    I have some disabilities and I have to do all my studies from home.

    While I applaud your effort to find a cheap license (I'm attempting the same), I'm shocked at the amount of hardware you must have at home.  I'm quite the tech junky, with AppleTV's, DirecTV's, WAPs, laptops, iphone, a couple of servers, VOIP, a fancy touchscreen remote, XBox, Wii, and an internet radio receiver .... for all that crap I'd need about 20 IPs.  As it is, most of it is turned off intentionally, so that I never have to fight the 10 IP limit, and it's a PITA, but 50 actual networked IPs?  Wow.  Maybe the $1000 seems reasonable for what you're after.
