Maybe, I found today a little bug in combination with edit definitions.
In my case, I had a host-definition (for example 'SRV_MX_192-168-0-1'). This host is configured at the SMTP-proxy as a 'Route target' (intern Exchange-Server).
Today, I edit the name of the host-definition into 'SRV_MX_192.168.0.1' (note the points instead of minus lines).
Ok, I made it, going Exit > Finish!
But no, no, as we got for a few hours no emails, I looked into the proxy content manager, that there were a lot of emails. When I tryed to select them and choose 'Force delivery', I get no result.
Last not least, I saw in the SMTP-Proxy, that the name of the 'Route Target' is still wrong and not the same, which I edit before a few hours.
All I must to do is, to make a click on the defined Route Target and choose the host new. After this, the new edited hostname makes a 'update' and all is ok.

In den Definitions hatte ich für einen bestehenden Mail-Server den Namen von 'SRV_MX_192-168-0-1' in 'SRV_MX_192.168.0.1' geändert.
Soweit so gut. Allerdings kamen danach keine eMails mehr rein. Der Fehler lag darin, daß im SMTP-Proxy unter 'Route Target' noch der alte Mail-Server-Name ('SRV_MX_192-168-0-1') drinn stand. Nachdem ich den Host anschließend neu ausgesucht hatte, erschien der richtige Eintrag ('SRV_MX_192.168.0.1') und alles war in Ordnung.
