Proxy Content Manager needs tweaking...

I have been using ASL since version 5.x . But haven't been able to see the proxy content manager page even once. That is mainly due to the fact that my proxy cache is 20 GB and the proxy content manager keeps loading this page and shows nothing at the end... To tell you the truth, I didnt have the patience to wait several hours to see the result of my single click [:S]

    i agee on that one,  some more cache config settings on squid would be nice [:)]

    Biffa and BERT are right... I cleaned up the proxy cache and the content manager went down in the "top" view. In fact the large cache was slowing my ASTARO.

    SUGGESTION to ASTARO dev. Team:

    In every module requiring user setting e.g Logging Services, Interface MTU, DNS proxy etc. There should be some indication on the web interface or an alert message from ASTARO indicating that the settings are not optimal and may adversly effect the performance of ASTARO.

    ISTM that /var/storage should be mounted with the NOATIME option per the squid documentation. This would speed things up a bit.
