Firefox 1.0 and no Backup

Interesting. I also use Firefox 1.0 and I don't seem to run into the same problem. If you manually open the download tab or "CTRL+J", do you see your downloads? You may also want to check your pop-up blockers as barry have suggested.

Strange yesterday it did not work.

I am sure that it did not work, I have tried 2 ASL firewalls and no success  with both , while using Inter expl. all was ok.  Perhaps  today  instead it works to me also, probably windows it had some problems and it made FireFox to not work correctly, but with today reboot all problems are vanished .

Well yes it works fine, 
i only use Firefox at work and home, also the half QA department uses Firefox.

maybe there is  a special extension and/or settings that prevents this.
