Weird Thing happened to my V5.100

Came in this morning and we had no connectivity. ASL box was running but could not ping the box or connect via webadmin. Had to hard shutdown the box  [:O]th that)

Once it booted up its running great.

Thing is that all monitoring and graphs stopped at 4:00am. It's like ASL just crashed. What could cause this. The system up time is only been  4 days 17 hours 43 minutes. Since I updated to 5.100

What is the deal? I would look at the system logs but I don't know what I am looking for. Can anyone help? Has anyone experienced this?

    I have recently upgraded from 5.027 to 5.100

    My Firewall also stopped working today after 2 days of uptime after upgrade. The main reason for this was resource shortage. My system had been up for 14 days with ASL 5.027 with same hardware. 

    PROBLEMS:
    ASL 5.100 is a memory HOG !!! I have 2 GB RAM and 20GB Swap space, P4 Prescott and 80 GB HDD with 5 NICs. But still ASL 5.1 crashed due to Memory resource shortage which is evident from my Hardware Graphs like a RAMP.

    WebAdmin stops to load after 10 minutes of uptime (No login screen appears after SSL Certificate). The workarround that I am using is to leave a session opened once the firewall restarted and change the session expiry limit to its max.)

    SUGGESTION:
    Dont Upgrade if you still running 5.027 [Thats the best version in Series 5].

    IS THERE A WAY TO ROLLBACK TO PREVIOUS VERSION????? PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!  [:S]

    rollback is not possible, but you can install v5.27 and load a backup

    My Astaro is deployed in a network that does not afford any downtime... so, reinstallation is not possible at all...
    I need a new stable update... or a way to get it downgraded to 5.027 through Automatic Update...

    Adal, this is very unusual, 
    please contact the Astaro Support team to investiage this, 
    my home firewall uses constantly between 100-130 MB RAM, and 5.100 did not change it much.

    Dear Gert, I have sent my firewall to the local Astaro Partners near me... I think if they are unable to fix the problem, i'll get help from support too... Thanx for help... [;)]

    I have a suggestion, it is better to test the updates on firewalls with different specifications e.g. mine is P4 3Ghz and 2 GB DDR RAM, 80 Gigs PATA HDD. I was quite happy with 5.027, i wonder what is different in this version???  [:O]

    There should be someway to revert it back to previous version in case u get stuck like me [:)] Restore.
