Migration path from Version 3

Hi all.

Please don't laugh or throw tomatoes at me...  [:)]

I've been running Version 3 for quite some time now and I have finaly made up my mind to upgrade(install)...gulp...

My question is: Can I go directly from 3 to 5 or must I go to 4 first then to 5?

I've searched the Forum but I didn't see any detail discussion on the migration. Sorry, I must have missed it.

    I will be doing the migration this weekend. Right now, I'm just reading up and making documentations before the install.

    Update.

    I have just completed my migration from Version 3 to 4! 

    It's looking good...woohoo!  The migration was near-painless.  Importing the abf into V4 for the migration was flawless.

    I've installed the 4.017 image and up2date to 4.25. All functionality from V3 are there(except for one which I'll get to later). Tested email, web server access, bulletin board...all working normally. Later on will try to configure remote SMTP relay for client...something I've always wanted to do so I can access my mails remotely... 

    There are new features in V4 that I'm still trying to get used to but they all look pretty straight-forward.

    The only non-critical issue is this:

    With V3, I was able to access webadmin using https://mydomain.com.  Now, with V4, it won't allow me. 

    The following message appears:
    "Your request comes from an address used on one of the firewalls interfaces. This probably means that you access Webadmin with one of the firewalls proxies, which is not allowed due to security considerations. Please disable the proxy for Webadmin access and try again."

    Well, I can access the webadmin using https://192.168.1.1 but I'd still like to access the webadmin from remote...say at work using my domain name.

    Can anyone please tell me where I may disable the proxy for Webadmin access?

    I'll let V4 cook for about a week or so then move onto V5...

    Hi,

    Put "mydomain.com./"  in exclusion rule in Proxy Settings of your Browser maybe 
    The Firewall dont accepts Admin connections going to its own Proxy.

    I've already done what you suggested by adding https://mydomain.com in the "No Proxy for:" field in Firefox. But no luck.

    Perhaps it's a new feature in V4 and 5 since I was able to get in when I was still in V3. ASL has been great for allowing us to control all the options except maybe for this one...
