HA NIC Licensing

Hi!

I'm thinking about activating the HA Option. The manual says, I'll have to use a dedicated NIC. I have a 3-NIC-License.
Apart from the HA option, do I have to buy a 3+ NIC License, or aren't the HA Interfaces counted as NICs?

Hi Snova,

which version of ASL are you using?

ASL V5 has no interface limitation anymore,
therefore you just need to obtain the HA option.

Just to be sure:
Do I have to have two licenses for each PC or am I allowed to install one license with HA Option on two connected PCs?

Well, the answer is in the manual, only one license (with HA Option) is needed. Don't know why I didn't see it in the first place...
