Astaro completely drops all traffic to the interne

Ok now I have had it.

Today I look at the memory graphs and Astaro's memory usage has blown sky high, it was using 800MB of my 1gig system.

I reboot and it goes back to regular around 256mb. Now all traffic from internal network is sooo slow. Sometimes my browser times out. THIS SUCKS!!!!

IS ANYBODY OUT THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I AM SERIOUSLY GONNA CHOOSE I DIFFERENT FIREWALL IF ASTARO CONTINUES TO IGNORE THE POSTS HERE.

    Call your reseller or Astaro support to see what may be causing the problem. I have found large attachemnets via POP proxy being scanned by the Antivirus to cause occasional issues.

    This is a user forum not an Astaro support forum. They will not answer your question here.    
    I GB of memory is good so it should not be a memory issue.

    calm down, noone needs such a noise here.

    Maybe you should have a closer look at the process list to see which process eats up all the memory. I have seen exim (the SMTP proxy) eating up that much memory because I have had too many regular expressions set in the expression filter.

    Once I have learned not to use too many exclamation marks - it may offend others

    Sounds like you won't be in the mood to try it; but do a ps -aux from the console and see which process is using a lot of resources.

    If it does show something stalled, that will help Astaro narrow things down when you talk to them.

    Have you tried shutting some of the the proxies temporarily when this happens? (to see if things improve)

    Are you using AV scanning?

    Astaro used to answer questions here....

    If they are not going to anymore then a statement from them would be good telling us that.
