License counting

Hi
I have two Astaro Firewall v.4.
1)The first to manage my internal networks with Base License and Up2Date Extension.
2)The second to manage my dmz networks with Base License Update Extension Virus Protection License.
All my users ip (internal and external) are 250, but now i pay each license for 250 user .
This is due because i needed to create more dmz so for the same user i have to pay double cost!!
Now i want to pass to Astaro v.5
 I don't understand so only the secon firewall has  Internet access i have to pay only one license for my external firewall?
If i masquarade my internal firewall on a ip of the second i won't to pay? 
I use Astaro in a governement agency so i'm not interested in elude payment but i want to pay only what i have to pay!!!

    Hi ale, if i understand you right, you only use 2 firewalls because of the amount of interfaces ?
    So why don't you add several quad port NICs to one system ?

    If you want to use 2 ASL behind each other i would recommend you to ask your Astaro representative if it's possible to use them with one license.

    yes you have understood me.
    License v.4 are organized for NIC.
    I needed to add some NICs but my first firewall has not free slot so i bought a second server and a second license.
    Now reading licensing post about v.5 i wonder if is possible for me to use one license only. But if i could i would be afraid for the license counting in v.5. I'm working on production machine and i want no sourprises!! But is true too that  the cost for me is in the order of some  thousands euro.!!!

    right you needed to add more nics but were out of slots.  Start replacing the single port nics with multiple port nics(2-4 or whatever) then you can have hte equivalent of 4 nics on one card.  It works well..many here use it..and you can then eliminate the second mahcine and its license all together.
