COM ports under Network Interfaces

Perhaps I've missed a post about this but after updating to 5.024 I now have com ports listed in the hardware list and can select to set them up as PPP interfaces. Did something change with regard to Astaro supporting serial devices/modems?

Yup it's now possible to use a serial modem for fallback or as primary link [:)]

Oh really??? As in we could now use a modem and a dialup internet account for failover when a primary goes down? If anyone can confirm this, or post a success (or failure) story of doing it, I would LOVE to hear about it!

I noticed this also, but I had thought it was due to me hacking the interfaces file in /etc to add wireless AP support to my box. I am glad to see that it is not just me with those extra interfaces!
