dynDNS update behind a official IP

hi,

i am correct if i say the asl can only update the ip from external interface?

i need now to update a dyndns account, which the asl is behind a router an has no official ip. is there a way to "hack" the asl?

    Did I understand you right, when I say, you are using a DSL-router to the internet and behind the router you use the ASL-box? Why don't you let the router make the DynDNS-Update? Maybe you'll need a firmware update for the router, but many routers can do that.
    I don't know a way to let the Astaro do an update of DynDNS witthout having the direct connection.

    you are right! no, the router is not aible to do dyndns, also with a new firmware.

    ASL can only do dyndns using the IP address of one of it's interfaces. If you need this done, you need to use software such as DirectUpdate or something running on a machine behind the router and the ASL that uses "web checks" to determine it's current IP.
