I have read with some interest there is no intention to support a dialup connection and then in the same line there is a statement to the effect some ISDN cards are supported. It is the ability to place and receive PPP calls that is probably important. I am not sure about the rest of you but in Australia ADSL stil has a few bugs to iron out as well as being a big country. It is a bit naive to think the ASL firewall will never break and never require remote support of some kind. Yes dialup is slow, but slow is better than nothing when the ADSL has died.
In addition to this what about a route table for each interface rather than a single routing table for the entire box. Yes it is a bit more complex, but have an Advanced Section like the Intrusion detection has for example. You do the fancy stuff in the advanced section. And let's bring on those dynamic routing protocols with proper load balancing at the IP level rather than the transport/application layer.
