User Autrhentication Question

General Question:

Is there any advantage to using LDAP authentication over RADIUS?

What I need for it to do:
1. Authenticate users for VPN
2. Authenticate users for webadmin
3. Authenticate users for the proxies
4. For the HTTP proxy, assign Surf Protection profiles based on group membership ( 5.xxx)

    Hi,
    with the settings in ASL you only tell this device where to send the authentication requests so if your radiusserver can authenticate this requests against an LDAP Directory why not.

    But why do you want to make LDAP over radius and not directly?

    I don't WANT to use LDAP.  

    Since I have RADIUS up and running, I was just WONDERING if there would be any reason to use LDAP instead. 

    RADIUS is more useful, and safer, than SAM so I was wondering if there were any useful differences between LDAP and RADIUS.
