It seems that two or three things would be excellent (and reasonably minor) additions to the product for those of us (stuck) with dynamic IP addresses:
1. DynDNS support is a very good feature, but...
ASL doesn't have an option for DynDNS Custom. The only difference in /etc/dyndns.conf is for the 'service-type' field to change to
service-type=dyndns-custom
Easy. Easy enough to manually edit, but webadmin overwrites if you mess with the dyndns config page.
(more complicated options may be helpful as well - perhaps a feature to directly edit dyndns.conf via webadmin?)
2. 'Assigned by DHCP' DNS servers
It's great that we can set the external IP address via DHCP. Unfortunately, if DHCP provides DNS servers, there's no (easy) way for that information to get to the DHCP /server/.
The workaround is, of course, to turn DNS Proxy on.

Still, in general, support for folks behind dynamic IPs is a wonderful thing. One small minor tweak (dyndns-custom) would be easy and obviate the need to manually edit any files (for me).
