Timeserver configuration

Hi, 

I'm a newbe with ASL.

I want to access from my internal network to external public timeserver (es. ntp.ien.it).

I simply allow time services (TIME on port 37 and NTP on port 123) access through ASL packet filter but the timeserver is already not visible.

I use ASL 5.021 with proxy HTTP, DNS, SOCKS e POP3 with 3 eth interface (green, orange, red).

    what operating system or program are you using to try to reach the time server?  Also check with the timeserver's operator to make sure they are using standard ports.  Also ensure you have hte packetfilter setup to have the workstation/s outgoing requests to the timeserver allowed..[:)]  What are your packet filter rules in regards to the time server/s?
