DynDns deamon not running

I have got the same problem ????

might be..have you tried rebooting?

does not help
still get error

I backuped the current settings and downloaded the lates release V5.15 and upgraded it to V5.21 and still got the same problem on the clean install
This happens once i installed v5.20 

Error :

But if you run the cmd manual you see the following :
Firewall:/root # /var/mdw/scripts/dyndns restart
Shutting down Ez-IPupdate:1
Starting Ez-IPupdate:0

Wich should be o.k.

Is there any support on this problem ??????

It might just be me, but the error causing it all is right there. Since ez-ipupdate is shutting down from that error, that is what is causing it all. It is true, that is an invalid hostname, that is only the domain-name. Try setting the hostname to something like www or whatever. Then see if the same error occurs.

Maybe there was an update to dyndns daemon, I don't know.

I have the same problem since I updated from 5.017 to 5.019, see  thread.

The problem still persists with 5.022. My domain name does not start with www.domain.tld but just domain.tld, and up to 5.017 the dyndns daemon did not had any issue with that.

I got domain.com in the dyndns  settings but i still have the problem ;0( 
i tryed it with www.domain.com *.domain.com but no luck still ;( 
But can somebody tell me how to kill the emai's as they are killing me ....

service-type=dyndns-custom

Easy. Easy enough to manually edit, but webadmin overwrites if you mess with the dyndns config page.

(more complicated options may be helpful as well - perhaps a feature to directly edit dyndns.conf via webadmin?) "
