I have just built a new Astaro firewall with a Mini ITX board and a Nehemiah 1Ghz CPU. So far I am very impressed, and have managed to get a very effective setup with Internal and DMZ lans on seperate cards (this box replaces a Dlink DFL700 which sounded good in theory but refused point blank to get a DHCP address from my cable modem - probably a good thing because the Astaro solution is more versatile) anyway I digress... The odd thing is, after changing the mother board in my main pc, it was given a new ip address, and I didnt notice so it took a licenced IP count I didnt need to use. I reset the licenced IPs and the router rebooted. After this, two of my machines were unable to access the internet (except http - I guess the proxy server doesnt check licenced ips?). When I rebooted the firewall again, they were immediately able to pass through the firewall.
