Need to compile programs

I need to do some compile some programs that I need to run on Astaro v5 But it seems there is no C compiler nor make on it..  Could someone point me in the right direction on how and what to install?

    Hi there all, 

    as we make a security product, 
    adding a compiler might not be the best idea.

    because not only you are than able to compile new things, 
    but also hackers and/or worms can compiler their tools and backdoors.

    we see this a major security issue.
