Having trouble logging in!

Hi all, I am evaluating Astaro  on a spare machine from the Linux Format Magazine CDs.  During the install Astaro did not ask for a password and I cant figure out how to log in.  I have installed it twice and I know I am doing something wrong.  Can anyone assist?  My IP address appears above the login field.

    You have to login via browser by typing https://yourip

    Follow the steps written at the interface.

    You also must type a password for root....

    Feel free to ask again...

    Thank you for the comeback, Alex.  At the 192.168.2.100 Login I entered, https://yourip,  then Astaro asks for a password, do you have any idea what the password is?  Sorry for being so dense but this eludes me.

    Hi Penguin!
    Here's what you have to do:
    1) Open a web browser on some other machine that is connected to the network.
    2) In the web browser address bar, type
    https://your-ip
    where your-ip has to be the ip that appears on your Astaro login prompt, which in this case I assume is 192.168.2.100 and then hit enter.
    3) Now after sometime, you shall see a Security Certificate Prompt, just press ACCEPT to proceed.
    4) It might take sometime but then eventually, in your browser window, you shall be able to see a Web Administration page. This page initially asks you to set the passwords for the users that have been created by default by Astaro.
    5) You simply need to assign passwords to these users, accept the license agreement and proceed.
    6) After that, the window would refresh and you shall be seeing the login window. Just type in the ADMIN user and it's password and remotely login to the webadmin of Astaro.

    Always remember that all the administration of Astaro is done via it's web interface, only is some cases where one has to login onto the console for some specific tasks.
    Anyway, another interesting tip is that with the fresh install, when you haven't set any password for any user, just go to the prompt, type user ROOT and simply press enter. It would automatically ask you to set a new password for the root, which of course it would ask again when you login via the webadmin.
