Cannot upload more than 1mb inside firewall

Please help!  I have an ASP program I use on my site to upload files to the server.  When I'm outside the firewall, I can uploiad any size file.  However, from inside I cannot upload more than 1mb at one time.

Is there a config within Astaro to change this?

    yes there is but you have to hack the squid-default.conf to do it.  this voids your support from astaro.  If you really want to do this let us know andwe will tell you what needs to be changed..[:)]

    Hmmm... I'm guessing that would not be a good idea considering we rely on our tech support pretty heavily here.  We have a very small IT dept.

    Any other ways around it??

    no http proxy?  What are you uploading to?  an internal server or external one..and what webserver software is it using?

    It's our external website.  It runs Windows 2000 with IIS 5.

    If there was a limit set, wouldn't it effect the account from both places?  Like I said, I can get any size file from outside of the firewall.

    If the site is on the same network as you are, and you are not using a proxy server, then ASL has nothing to do with the issue.

    Okay, I think I'm confused.  Let me try to explain this again.

    I have a website.  The website is on the OUTSIDE of our company firewall.  this is where I need to upload these files.

    I am trying to upload the files from INSIDE the firewall but they will not go thru.  When I try it crashes the browser.

    I guess they would be different networks as one is outside and one is inside.  How does this change things?

    have you tried using ftp to upload?


    also what is the site you are uploading to?  who is hosting it?  fi it is angelfire or geocities they have strict file size limits.
