WebAdmin....firefox

hello everybody!

maybe a silly question,
but...

is it possible to open all those log windows inside a new tab in firefox?

(i got no problem with firefox as a browser for ASLv5 - but i would like to have those logPopups inside the mainwindow -in a tab.)

ASL v5
...tried it with konqueror 3.1.3 on debian,
but had problem's... 
tried it with IE 6.0.28...
and Firefox both under WinXP
but will go back to debian ~next week ;-)

    I have not had any luck managing ASL using Firefox.  I had to restort to using IE in order to see/download log files and  a few other things as well.

    I am using the .0.9.1 release copy of Firefox on Windows XP. Have not tried it on a Linux platform yet.

    I use Fire Fox v0.91 also.  In order to get it to work with the ASL WebAdmin, you have to allow Pop-ups for the WebAdmin IP addr.  That's what worked for me.  IE allows pop-ups to everyone, thats why it works.

    In mozzie 1.x i ahd to tell it to allow popups fromt he firewall in v4 and v5 for it to work.  Also i routinely use the tabbed interface to view mutiple things at once..[:)]

    yes..firefox is a mozila port..tell firfox to allow popups from your Astaro box's ip and then use hte right-click open in new tab functions..[:)]

    hi

    i tried it with a right mouse click on the "show" button 
    from the packet filter live log
    there was "This Frame.." and then "open in new tab"

    but in the new tab i got the login dialogue from the ASL WebAdmin
    ..

    i don´t want to kick my self

    the packet filter live log will not work in the tabed interface.,.have to use it in the popup window provided.

    Regarding FireFox & WebAdmin:
    I've tried 3x to restore previous settings with the "Backup" feature of WebAdmin using FireFox 0.9.1 and each has stalled/errored out, resulting in an unstable ASL platform.  Using IE 6 works just fine.  However, I've used FireFox for all management functions of ASL and it works fine with this.  I think the FireFox browser handles uploading files differently than IE 6 and that might be part of the problem.
