Does Uplink Failover work, anyone?

Hello. I have been up on Ver 5.11 for over a week now, no problems so far. Today I tried to test out the uplink failover. I have two internet lines, and I set up the primary and backup interfaces as described. I unplugged the primary line, and waited..., but it didn't seem like the other line was up. I tried to ping the backup gw, but no answere (ping rule OK). I have tried out the nic as a normal subnet, and it is working fine.
I even got mail from the ASL told me the primary link was down, and that it was using the backup interface.

I would like to know if anyone else has had any luck with this?

Or if anyone has a clue.

    Good morning;

    Actually with the box I was testing ASL 5.0x with the uplink failover was working for me on 5.005 I believe.  it took about 45 seconds to flip over to the secondary but it'd run.

    I tested that on a P4 1.9ghz 1gb ram, 2 3com 3c905c-tx-m NICs & had the NICs plugged into 2 differant routers.  I caused the failover by dropping all packets from the Primary nic a few hops infront of it.

    Yes it works!
    I had some NAT rules who followed me from the 4.22 version, and they seemed to mess with this feature. I changed to Masquerading rules for WAN and WAN2. (Any -> All / All   MASQ__WAN ,  Any -> All / All   MASQ__WAN_2 )
    As you said, it took about 40 sek before the backup interface was working.  
    I have four NIC's, 1 LAN, one DMZ and two WAN's. I use HTTP proxy and POP3 proxy, and everything seems to work fine.

    I have to say that ASL ver 5 is starting to smell good!!
