MSN and ASL 5

Has anyone noticed with ASL v 5.XXX that MSN clients seem to sign in and out very often?

A lot of my users are reporting this.  I'm wondering if it's something to do with v5 or just MSN's servers...

    I am having the same problems with MSN messenger. Either directly used without a proxy, or with a http, https, socks 4, socks5 proxy. I lose connection every few minutes. Is there any word of a solution, or a work around, or anything?

    Did you try the "keep connection alive" feature?
    I'm now using 5.023 ASL and am tunneling MSN through the SOCKS5 proxy using the Miranda Messenger Tool. Works fine with me now. Also tried MSN 6.1: worked!

    When i was running v5 i did not have this issue with the msn module of tirllian.
