2.6 kernel?

Are there any immediate plans to migrate to the 2.6 kernel? While I haven't done any comparisons myself, I've heard that the scheduler in 2.6 is much improved over 2.4 which might be the kind of kick in the pants ASL V5 needs. Just curious if this was being worked on for V5 or maybe put off for another release version (V6?)?

I have no idea what is going on in ASL labs..but that being said i bet v5 will stay 2.4..[:)]

Yep V5 more then likely will stick with 2.4 but I can't say about v6 or future releases. But... I will vouch for the massive performance boosts that 2.6 gives over 2.4... Compared via SuSE 9.0pro to SuSE 9.1pro on the AMD64 platform.
