I know thats lots of work on making the IP counter function correctly are going on.
What is the thinking on licensing IP that are only used on Astaro interfaces.
The reasons that I ask is that whilst I am a home user I have lots on NIC's in my box.
Why well becuse the hardware i had spare had loads of PCI slots and I had NICs and a decent CPU kicking about.
Its nice just to pop a box on i own NIC for obvious reasons.
But if i have 5 NICs and 5 PC's unless the NICs on astaro are not counted this would be 10 Ips licensed.
Anyone know how this will work?
I would say that it is really the PC/Server count that matters as that is related to the size of the user network.
