up2date 5.010 warning

After updating to version 5.010, I cannot login to the wall  anymore.  After having entered username and password I get the following error message:

Internal System Error    
         
  The internal authentication daemon could not be reached. Please reboot the system. If the problem persists, please contact your vendor. 
   
      
  
Needless to say, I did ssh into the wall and reboot it, same result.  Anyone have a clue?

After you get the error message, try reloading the page (hit F5 in IE) and try to re-login. It worked for me in ASL 5.007 - 5.009 with RADIUS enabled. Did not try 5.010, though (downgraded to 4.022 because of the POP-Proxy-Problems).

Tried that numerous times, rebooted the computer, restarted the middleware (/etc/init.d/mdw restart) always same result.

I just got at panic call from a PPTP user.  It seems that PPTP access doesn't work anymore either.  PPTP Users are defined locally on the wall.  Ouch...

I tried installing the new 5.010 iso image from scratch and reapply the settings from a backup file, same result.  Guess there is something in my settings that is not compatible with version 5.010.  Finally I installed 5.005 + upgrades upto and including 5.009 and everything is OK.

do you have some logs left from your 5.010? would help use finding the problem. if not, is it possible to get the backup which caused the problems?
