hi
is there anyway to monitor connections by bandwidth ?
in v4 there was the tools current active connections but in 5 it isn't so good.
what i'm looking for is if our connection slows down i can look at who is consuming the bandwidth.

ok i've found some tools to monitor bandwidth by proto etc but how do u copy files to astaro ?

i tried sftp but it bombs out.

any ideas welcome

if you tried to login with root, than this is the mistake. you can login via ssh only as loginuser.

yes it is possible but you have to install a compiler and so on.

just tried intsalling gcc but it asks for the location of the compiler! do'h.

o well back to the drawing board....i did this before on 4.xx but can't remember how.

couldn't find a plus pack for 5 .
however i'm using MIDAS to monitor the bandwidth protols etc and it seems to do the job.
u can see it at sourceforge
