Adaptec 7896 installation trouble

I try to install ASL 5.005 on a Intel LX440 board with an onboard scsi-controller (AIC-7896) that I can NOT hide so ASL will not try to install the apropriate driver... because: the installtion/modprobe of the driver fails :-(

Since I have no chance (jumper :-) to deactivate the onboard controller I´m looking for a way to tell ASL on boot time to NOT to use the scsi modules... but I have no idea how to do that.

Maybe some of you can help me on this...

For you Astaro guys: on console intstallation hangs with "/sbin/insmod //aic7xxx.o" and "Using //aic7xxx.o"
