question to "void support"-Note at root login

Hi there,

could please anyone tell what that note means at root login?

We want so set up source routing but this only seems to be possible by shell command "ip route", but not with the WebAdmin (V5.001)?! So what does that mean for us? Loosing support completely? What does support mean anyway?

    source based routing is not a feature we activly sell or promote because it is not in WebAdmin, if you choose to create source based routing on the command line you will loose the 90-days freeweb-based support (www.astaro.com/support) you gained with the purchase of the product, also any additional support contract you bought from us will be void. If changes are done on the command line we can not guarantee the integrity of the system, future Up2Dates might overwrite your changes or the changes might have side-effects with the supported features.
