Hi all. This may be unrelated to most and I apologized in advance if it's not appropriate for this forum.

I've recently purchased UT2004 and wanted to play with a couple of friends online. When I get into the game, I can't get to any of the servers. Not one server is listed. I know it has something to do with my Astaro configurations but I don't know what.

I'm guessing, I have to setup a MASQ and rule? Has anyone ever configured Astaro to allow a remote host access a game server on the internet, specially UT2004? If so, please do share your Astaro configuration for gaming.

I've also search for "UT2004" but didn't find an instance.

    Make first a 'service' called UT (for example) with source ports 1:65535 and destination ports 7777:7778. Then you make in Network>NAT/Masquerading the NAT-rule Any to xDSL-address with the service UT forwarding to the UT-server. Then at last make a Packet Filter-rule to allow Any with the service UT to the UT-server.

    I tried what you have described aboved and I still wasn't able to get in.  I may have misunderstood some of your instructions.

    Creating the service and the rule was clear to me. But I got lost when trying to follow your note for the NAT.  When you mention xDSL, I'm assuming you meant my external interface? And lastly when you mentioned the UT-server, do I need to know the server's IP address?

    Yep, that's correct. So for making it possible you have to do those 3 steps...

    i run a ut2004 server.  here is how i do it

    services
    =====

      UT2004-1  UDP  1024:65535  7777:7778  V4 Backup import  
      UT2004-2  TCP  1024:65535  28902  V4 Backup import  
      UT2004-4  UDP  1024:65535  7787  V4 Backup import  

    nat
    ===

        ut2004-1   Any -> external (Address) / UT2004-1   None   Hilly   edit | delete   
         ut2004-2   Any -> external (Address) / UT2004-2   None   Hilly   edit | delete   
         ut2004-4   Any -> external (Address) / UT2004-4   None   Hilly   edit | delete 


    packet filter rules (if you are hosting a game)
    ===========

      9  [none]    Any  0.0.0.0/0   ut2004 Services    192.168.3.8   Hilly    Allow External services to


    dont forget to change the ut2004.ini to say,  BehindNAT=True

    Hi! Im glad i found your post...im also having problem connecting  online. Looking at your setting...what is "Hilly"?

    Anyway....I just want to play online and not serve any game but I cant connect to master server. here's my configs-

    ut2004  192.168.1.0 -> 192.168.1.10/ut2004   None  24.35.16.104/ut2004 

    The 192.168.1.10 and 24.35.16.104 are  both exist in my firewall server...  and ut2004 is 7777:7779

    I know my setting not correct so i cant see master server...can anyone plese help?
