ADSL pppoe 5.006

Some problems with 5.006 update (from 5.004)!

Max packet size is now 576 [:(]
packet fragmenting does not work eather!

so www.sun.com (and lot of other things) is not accessible trough astaro fw.
it was working before update.

please fix this quick.

How to deinstal update???

so have you ever asked your provider what´s the best MTU for the connection? I think if you customize the settings www.sun.com will work.

i've got the same problem with an german DSL Provider
Deutsche Telekom.

Which is the best MTU for me ?

Hello heckpiet,

problems with german TDSL? So, what is your actual MTU?
Try opening www.gmx.de... If you cannot open it too I think the problem belongs to MTU size..

Normally there should not be these problems with TDSL.

hello heckpiet,
the max mtu size can be 1492 bit.
normal you have 1500 bit like ethernet but the ppoe header need 8 bit.

Normally you can leave setup defaults. But wait for heckpiet. I want to hear what setup he has...

so i had allready 1492 in my config. so have change it to 1400 saved , rebootet and change it back to 1492 rebootet and now it works. ...... www.sun.com and www.gmx.de
