There is no real need to do so, since you can simply allow time services (TIME on port 37, and NTP on port 123) access through your packet filter.
The accuracy of time service decreases, and the jitter will increase, as the levels of time service indirection increases. You are therefore better off to let the servers on your internal network that need time syncronization, access external secondary time servers directly.
