exlclude some ipadress logging

Hi all,

I've got a question concerning logging. I get a lot of portscan detection messages of a dns server we are using from our provider. Is it possible to exclude those kind of logging? So, i want portscan detection enabled, but exclude some ip-adresses (of the dns server).

    In version 4, define the box that the portscan originates from as a network.

    Add this to the PSD Network Exclusion (with src and destination).

    In version 5:
    Go to Intrusion prevention - Advanced - Set IPS Network Exclusions
    (I assume this is correct since i have not actually tried it in ver 5)
