I decided to reinstall 5.001 from scratch and not import my 4.021 settings. I did install my current v5 license. Since i have redone everything manually the squid proxy has been working properly..i have not been getting the messages that up2date for ips/av is not valid or anything else. webadmin has been quite snappy(with the exception of packet filter rules being a touch slow but nothing to write home about). It seems there may be some issues with importation of v4 stuff still. Just a guess.
