Linux? help with http proxy log gzip and move/mail

Being a M^%$£%%ft guy and not linux - I need to know a way to zip the http proxy access log and copy to a remote share or mail it out, any one got any bright ideas before I lose what little hair I have left [:S]

    What version are you using? V5 and V4 both have ways to download the logs through WebAdmin.

    In V5, click Local Logs/Browse. You will then see the local logs. On the far right of the screen, you will see an icon with a blue arrow pointing down to a hard drive. If you click on the one beside the HTTP Proxy, it will zip up all the ones in that category, and present it to be downloaded by you.

    In V4, it is not as nice. Click Log Files/HTTP Proxy. You can then download each file, or click Select All, and then choose download and click go.
