Linux? help with http proxy log gzip and move/mail

Being a M^%$£%%ft guy and not linux - I need to know a way to zip the http proxy access log and copy to a remote share or mail it out, any one got any bright ideas before I lose what little hair I have left [:S]

use gzip to zip the file

use exim to mail the file

check syntax here

here is the Exim site.
http://www.exim.org/

normallly on a LINUX box you could use SAMBA to access M$ shares but I don't think it is an option for ASL.
