Backup update not working?

1. The backup file cannot be restored. Its version is 4.770. The minimum possible version is 4.021 and the maximum possible version is 5.199.

2. some web pages ar not working, like www.microsoft.com? what can be the problem? ADSL pppoe. defoult config packet filete any any any / masq localet out. / 96% of pages ar working ok, dns is ok, traceroute to host too., when i switch link to 'small' pppoe router all is ok?

1. Unfortunately, backups from the betas won't work in 5.000 or 5.001, and afaik, there is no plan to support them.

2. Are you using the HTTP proxy? If so, in what mode (transparent)?

2. lowering MTU on ADSL ppoe interface to 1472 fixed prblem that some pages are not oppened.

ISTM that ASL should automatically set the MTU to 1472 for PPPOE.
