constant error messages

I am getting e-amils once an hour from the a/v up2date and ips up2date that the license is invalid and the up2date is stopping.  My home license does not allow me to go into those areas to shut those down.  How can i killl those up2date services so i stop getting hte hourly notification?

I do have system up2date on...

    here is what i get every hour

    [INFO-358] Pattern Up2Date failed: License not valid
    [INFO-358] Pattern Up2Date failed: License not valid
    [CRIT-354] Intrusion Protection Pattern Up2Date failed: No Up2Date Server available
    [CRIT-364] Pattern Up2Date failed: Pattern Up2Date subscription expired

    turn off the pattern up2date maybe?

    i never turned them on...and hte home license does not let you access hte pattern up2date section at all so if it got turned on somehow it will not allow you to turn them off..

    in the up2date section of webadmin is the pattten up2date traffic light toggled on at all? I dont know what "cannot access section" means, since it's all on the same page as systemup2date etc...

    Can you post a screenshot of your license page.  It sounds like you may need to reimport you v5 license file again

    my v4 license did not have a/v licensed....yet i was able to get to the up2date section and turn it off...in v5 the up2date is locked out..when you first install v5 it is in a 7-day evaluation.  Apparently the fact that i did not specifically disable the a/v up2date is causing this issue.  Will reinstall ASL 5 and report on what happens..[:)]

    here was my troubleshooting experience so far.

    I made a backup of my configuration and then I reinstalled ASL from scratch.  In 7 day eval mode it will not do much of anything..no up2date sections are even accessible.  I could not get it to connect to the net..[:)]  Next i installed my v5 license key.  This locked up webmin completly..i power cycled the box and let it come back up.  Now i had everything except HA, spam protection, a/v, ips/ids, and pattern up2date.  I went to the up2date section and the pattern up2date was inaccessible(locked out due to not having a license).  I restored my previous v5 backup.  This took almost 4 minutes to successfully complete.  I am waiting to see if this generates the hourly error messages.  The only thing different is i did not import my v4 config.
