Lame Server & Bad Referral Query

I'm new to Linux & Astaro v4, but I have the following in my daemon logs :-

2004-Mar 23 00:26:45 (none) superdaemon.pl[431]: all ok

  • What proxies are you using?

It appears that one of the proxies is doing a "reverse-lookup" check, to see that network activity coming from a domain (mail, web) matches what it's IP address should be. But many people's DNS's don't support such lookups (that is to say, haven't been configured to support...), and hence the errors you are seeing...
  • HTTP with Caching & DNS.

Would you not want to check on the IP addresses in question ?
