New features in V5 available for homeusers?

Hi,

A couple of days ago i've download and install Astaro V5 Beta. A great version with awesome features but will those features (ips for example) still be available for homeusers when Astaro releases the final version? I.e. is it a good idea to spend some time on those features without the 'risk' that one cannot use this feature anymore with the final release?

The second question, is there a release date planned? Or a release month?

I am afraid I can answer you just to first question.

Normally there are all things awailable also under HomeUser licence, just that some are limited. You can use home user licence with up to 3 NIcs and to protect up to 10 IPS.

There are only 2 things you have to pay extra for using, since this are things, which are not produced by Astaro, but they bought licence to use them in ASL.
This is Antivirus protection and Surf protection.
But to home user also those 2 features are awailable for descent price.

Thanks for your respons! I'll just hope that what you are saying is true It's funny to find myself in a situation asking if the software that i used for many years now (squid, MRTG/RRDTools, Exim, IPTables, SNORT, etc.) will be free of charge in the next release of ASL. But the webinterface and the hardened system makes it all worth, so....
