You will find it in Astaro's "PlusPack"; do Searches on that...

FYI: I load that 'standard' on my Astaro distro; I think it should be there, given the likelihood of having to troubleshoot. There is an argument against not having such a powerful tool lying around, but hey; once I've got root, I can pull it down from the 'net anyway...

The package seems to be a bit outdated but tcpdump still works.

yes. it would be nice to have a newer version...

the tcpdump included in that pack doesn't allow for snaplen=0!

I want to be able to grab the WHOLE packet...  [:S]   

You can pull down a newer version, use the "PlusPack" to compile it; then you have to babysit the patches.

I would rather see it included in version 5...
