FTP Proxy

A new year wish.

I know that FileZilla allows using HTTP1.1 proxies to access FTP servers. But I consider that having a real FTP Proxy on ASTARO (maybe v5) could be a great idea... Cheapest proxies like Comtun 4.5 (from linkbyte.com) have it.

The web proxy (squid) will proxy FTP if you add FTP as an allowed service in the proxy configuration page.
Are asking about inbound or outbound proxying?

This should be fine. Inbound would require DNAT for the internal FTP server. Outbound should work for FTP.
