i get a problem when i start to copy files into the astaro /etc folder. when login with the normal loginuser and i start to copy then i get an error that i do not have write acces. anyone a idea how can i give the loginuser full acces to all folders.

    There IS a reason for loginuser not to have write access you know  [:)]
    You should upload the to somewhere where loginuser has write permissions (like /home/login/), ssh to the box as loginuser, su to become root and then copy the files from /home/login to /etc

    yeah thats right, but i want to configure a dns client on my astaro (ddclient from orgdns.org). and the installationsguide says i need to copy some files into the etc folder. so when i can give unlimited acces to the loginuser for while.....so i can copy the files and configure the system......then thats is.
